here’s my cv
I am a Canarsee territory-based sculptor, performance maker, filmmaker, potter, healing arts student, and gardener of Joseon-descent. My work aims to contribute to our collective resistance and resilience against the white supremacist capitalist destruction of the sacred and the wild.
My art practice is inextricably linked to my political/organizing work, and vice-versa. I believe that if mutual aid and education are wood, things we need to build with, then art (as medicine, versus, its frequent rendering as candy), is water—the force/being/thing that we, me and wood, (née tree) need to live.
